Upper-Year Dormitory Application 2026/2027

 

International students can apply for dormitory accommodation for the 2026/2027 academic year through the online application system.

Please read the application period, application process, dormitory fees and ranking system carefully before submitting your application.

Application period

The upper-year dormitory application system opens on 8 June 2026 at 10:00 AM and closes on 11 June 2026 at 12:00 PM.

Application announcement

Upper-year international students are informed about the dormitory admission procedure through the Neptun system.

8 June 2026, 10:00 AM

Application opens

The online dormitory application form becomes available through the dormitory website.

11 June 2026, 12:00 PM

Application closes

The upper-year dormitory application period ends. Applications submitted after the deadline cannot be accepted.

12–18 June 2026

Evaluation and ranking

Applications are checked, evaluated, scored and ranked according to the official admission criteria.

19 June 2026

Decision and notification

Students are informed about the upper-year dormitory admission results.

5 July 2026

Residence Conditions deadline

Admitted students must print, complete, sign and return one copy of the Residence Conditions by this deadline.

Complete the online dormitory application form during the official application period.

Data Check

Applications are checked and verified by the Dormitory Administration.

Evaluation

Applications are evaluated based on academic performance, professional activity and community involvement.

Ranking

Applicants are ranked according to the official dormitory point system.

Decision

The admission decision is made after evaluation and ranking.

Residence Conditions

Admitted students must return the signed Residence Conditions by the official deadline to keep their dormitory place.

Ranking System

 

The maximum total number of points that can be awarded for academic, professional and public activities and for the Hungarian language examination is 200.

120 Study average
40 Professional work
20 Public activities
20 Hungarian language examination certificate

Detailed evaluation

 

Points can be awarded in the following categories:

1. Academic performance (study average)
  • Maximum 120 points may be awarded based on the student’s study average.
  • The calculation is based on the GPA of the last two completed semesters.
  • A central university formula is used for calculating the final score.
2. Professional work
  • TDK or OTDK participation and awards may be considered.
  • Demonstrator activity may be awarded.
  • Scientific publications may be awarded.
  • Talent management programme participation may be awarded.
3. Public activities
  • Community and public activities performed for the university or dormitory may be considered.
  • Student representative activities may also be considered.
4. Sports achievements
  • University sports scholarship achievements may receive additional points.
  • Official certificates or supporting documents may be required.
